Introduction

The ISS Strategic planning is a map to create a vision of future for ISS.

The mission of the Iranian Statistical Society
 

To improve the knowledge, literacy, and education level of Iranians in statistical sciences and to apply and to make know the skills and capacities of these sciences in the development of other branches of science and technology.

Core Values

The common core values among members of ISS, which are derived from the constitution, and comprehensive scientific plan, and the ISS’s statute are as follows

• Unity, cohesion, and national authority

• Anti-discrimination regarding gender, ethnicity, religion (according to the constitution), and geography

• Adherence to the principle of conflict of interest

• Public participation with free thinking, exchange of opinions, conflict of ideas, anti-discrimination, and with mutual respect

• Morality

• Improving the status of the decision-making system and decision-making based on data and statistical thinking
• Increasing national and international interactions and improving the rank and status of the Iranian Statistical Society.
