The 13th Seminar on Probability and Stochastic Processes took place at Hakim Sabzevari University, in cooperation with the Iranian Statistical Society, on September 1-2, 2021. Due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, the only responsible choice to make was to hold the event in virtual format.
This seminar serves as a forum for bringing together researchers in the fields of probability and stochastic processes, and providing them the opportunity to present their recent research outputs, exchange experience, gain new knowledge and establish contacts. We are extremely thankful to researchers who contributed to this event by presenting their latest research findings.
A total of 74 articles were sent to secretariat of the seminar. After thorough refereeing, 49 (12) articles were accepted for oral (poster) presentation. Also, some distinguished researchers participated in the event as invited speakers.
Holding this seminar wouldn't have been possible without unfailing support from Iranian Statistical Society, and vice chancellery for research and technology of Hakim Sabzevari University. Also, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the members of the scientific and organizing committees of the seminar, and dedicated colleagues who served as reviewer for articles submitted for consideration.
